Why I Built This Website

This website was created as a place to record my reflections on life. These thoughts come from everyday observation and contemplation — reflections on social events, personal paths, and the ongoing search for meaning and self-worth.

In an age dominated by fast-moving social media, I chose to build a personal website instead. A blog-like space allows ideas to be expressed more slowly, and conversations to unfold with greater sincerity.

While social platforms have made expression easier, they are increasingly shaped by algorithms and the pursuit of attention. Many spaces once meant for sharing and reflection have become driven by visibility and profit. This website is my attempt to step aside from that noise, and to preserve a quieter place for thought.

The site was built entirely by myself — from purchasing the domain to writing the code and deploying the pages. I had no prior experience in web development. Advances in AI made it possible for me to learn and build along the way.

All writing published here is written by me. AI tools are used only for minor assistance, such as correcting typos or refining phrasing.

I do not know how many people will ever visit this site. Even if it remains unseen, I will continue to update it. Writing has been a lifelong habit for me — a way of thinking, and a way of staying connected to both myself and the world.

I hope this quiet way of observing life can be recorded, shared, and perhaps seen. And if you are feeling lost or uncertain, I hope it offers a small reminder: inner independence and calm are often the only ways to resist a noisy world.
